AJW TV 8/13/1992

Pretty cool looking building they're running for this taping with the all red carpeting. Don't recall ever seeing this one used before

- Kyoko Inoue & Terri Power vs Manami Toyota & Mima Shimoda
Terri Power appears to be slowly morphing into a mummy as the days go by here. Now in addition to having her knee taped she's got her arm & shoulder wraped up too. Sweethearts work it over for a little bit at the start of the match but it proves to be a failed game plan and doesn't amount to much. The rest of the match is your basic back & forth stuff. Mima looked quite good here as she's upping the bitch factor now that she's rolling with LCO. Toyota & Kyoko have a short but nice section doing their usual stuff here too. And Terri, well, she didn't mess anything up and was mostly fine for her part. Final stretch looks to be a repeat of 8/9 as Kyoko gets isolated for a good while, fighting 2 on 1 with Terri only coming in to make short saves. This time though things end diffrently after Toyota & Terri end up fighting outside, Kyoko is able to come out the winner over Mima, droping her pretty hard with the Niagra Driver. Post match Terri gushes about what a genius Kyoko is. Pretty decent match, about 1/2 shown.

- (Fuji TV Tag Tournament R3) Akira Hokuto & Toshiyo Yamada vs Mariko Yoshida & Sakie Hasegawa
Sakie & Yamada start and right away Sakie goes on a spin kick run. Hokuto tags in and let's Sakie know she's got kicks of her own, to the face then dumps her with a pretty nasty looking backdrop suplex. Sakie can't get up so Yoshida rushes in to try and save her and promptly gets her butt kicked for the effort. Dagerous Queen is not a merry old soul, instead of calling for her pipe her bowl and some fiddlers she calls for her kendo stick and canes the heck out of Yoshida. Yamada, being the good little girl she is does not approve of these shenanigans and goes to put a stop to her tag parters wicked ways which just leads to a fight breaking out between them instead. Once broken up Hokuto goes back to beat on Sakie some more but is draged away by the ref who calls for the bell just a couple mins into the match as Sakie appears to have injured her back. All hell breaks out as Yoshida throws a monster fit, protesting to anyone who'll listen then getting on the mic, swearing revenge on Hokuto and calling for the match to be restarted so she can fight them 2 on 1. Don't think i've ever seen her this angry before. Hokuto & Yamada who'd allready walked to the back return and the ref is like fuck it, ring the bell. Yoshida & Yamada go at it for a few seconds with Yoshida getting the better of the exchange so again, Hokuto, not in the mood to deal with this shit tags in, slaps the heck out of Yoshida and kills her with the NLB. Lesson of the day #1 - be careful what you wish for kids, Lesson of the day #2 - don't fuck with Akira Hokuto. Post match Hokuto starts beating away with the kendo stick again and another fight breaks out between her & Yamada with Yamada this time eating a few cane shots herself. No post match interview for the pair as a fight breaks out backstage as well. Nothing as a match but amazingly great as an angle.

- Bull Nakano, Bat Yoshinaga & Tomoko Watanabe vs Aja Kong, Kaoru Ito & Miori Kamiya
Ahhhhh, been a while since we've had a good Jungle Jack vs Gokumonto war. After dominating half of 90 and all of 91 they cooled off the feud a little in 92, only going back to it here & thear but a little bit of the hatred still remains. Match starts pretty normal, the usual low level joshi action for and then Aja & Bull go at it and freakin chaos erupts. They go all immovable object vs irresistible force to start and then things turn into a whild brawl with all 6 going at it outside. Chairs start flying, tables get broke, heads get smashed, a good time is had by all...or atleast me as i'm loving this. Settles down eventually for a short time with Watanabe & Bat playing whiping girl but Watanabe makes her comeback spazing out on Kamiya with her mad Judo skilz and chaos erupts again, this time mainly confined to in ring however. Aja & Ito bust out some clubberin on Bull and in a cool moment later on, hit her with locomotion foot stomps and splashes. Just when things are looking good though, Bull ducks a uraken and she takes Ito's head off instead allowing Bull to get the pin as Bat & Wat run interferance. Post match, Bull reminds Aja that oh yeah, they kind of have to team up in 2 days for the tag tournament and calls for a truce. Aja after throwing a little fit, surprisingly agrees and they shake hands to end things. The Aja/Bull singles rivalry wasn't quite over yet, they'd meet a couple more times later in the year but for all intents and purposes this was the last of the JJ vs Goku tags (that made tape atleast). Not the best match between the 2 factions or anything but a nice swan song none the less and a darn good match. Nice reminder of why this was one of the best feuds in wrestling history.
